This 1920’s beaded evening dress is a rare find especially in such good condition.
The shape is iconic of the 1920’s shift evening dress. Made from silk chiffon with metal silver beading and crystal clear smaller beads embellishing the entire dress.. The hem line is slightly scalloped and has a slit at one side up to the hip. The black under slip is separate to the dress and is made from silk .
The dress is intact and has no flaws apart form some ( very few ) few of the beads which are missing (see photo) although this does not detract from the overall appearance of this little Downton Abbey original vintage stunner.
