A gorgeous 1950s ivory white wedding dress with sheer tulle skirts and sleeves, this is a great restoration project for a vintage bride wanting a genuine 1950s dress for their big day.
The dress has a white collar with tulle trim and an empire style waist. The skirt is satin with layers of tulle decorated with little flower details which give a stunning fairytale effect. This dress hasn’t been preserved as well as some others of its age and is not in the same condition it was on it’s first trip down the aisle 70 years ago, this is reflected in the price. There are multiple holes in the tulle netting and some stitches loose, and also some discolouration from age and staining in the underarms. This dress is a piece of wearable history and is sure to make any bride feel special.
